Kyoto Garden

This system is based on the novel idea of using Mixed Reality (MXR) technology in the design of a Japanese garden. It dramatically changes the way that humans interact with computer, especially in the area or art and design, architecture, education, etc…

Apply the MXR technology on the Japanese Garden design process. Instead of using the traditional blueprint design, we have a virtual landscape and a catalogue if virtual objects to put into the garden.

This makes the system more flexible and dynamic. The tangible interface of this system as well as the nature of its flexible also allows it to be easily applied to many other areas like art and architecture.
